Privacy Policy
How we handle your data and photos. Written in plain English because you shouldn't need a lawyer to understand a privacy policy.
Last updated: January 15, 2026
Remeet ("we," "us," "our") operates the website remeet.cc and provides photo book design and printing services. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to make your book and deliver it to you:
- Contact information — Your name and email address, so we can communicate about your order and send your digital proof.
- Shipping address — If you order a printed book, we need an address to ship it to.
- Payment information — Credit card or payment details, processed securely through our payment provider (Stripe). We never see or store your full card number.
- Photos — The photos you share with us to create your book. This is the most sensitive data we handle, and we take it seriously (see below).
- Communications — Emails or messages you send us about your order.
How we handle your photos
Your photos are personal. Here's exactly what we do with them:
- We use them only to make your book. Your photos are viewed by the designer assigned to your project and used solely for designing, proofing, and printing your photo book.
- We never share your photos. We don't sell them, license them, use them in marketing, or show them to anyone outside of the team working on your book.
- We delete them after 90 days. Once your order is complete, your photos are automatically deleted from our systems within 90 days. If you want them deleted sooner, just ask and we'll do it immediately.
- You can request longer storage. If you'd like us to keep your photos on file so you can order reprints or additional copies later, let us know and we'll retain them until you tell us to delete them.
Photos are stored on encrypted servers during the design and production process. They are never stored on personal devices or unencrypted drives.
How we use your information
We use your personal information to:
- Design and produce your photo book
- Send you proofs and order updates
- Process your payment
- Ship your book to the correct address
- Respond to your questions or requests
- Improve our service (using aggregated, non-identifying data)
That's it. We don't build advertising profiles. We don't sell your data to third parties. We don't send unsolicited marketing emails unless you've opted in.
Third-party services
We use a small number of third-party services to operate:
- Google Analytics — We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website (which pages are visited, how long people stay). This uses cookies. You can opt out using Google's opt-out browser add-on.
- Stripe — Our payment processor. Stripe handles your payment information under their own privacy policy. We never see your full card number.
- Cloud hosting — Your photos and data are stored on encrypted cloud infrastructure in the United States.
We don't use third-party ad trackers, remarketing pixels, or social media tracking scripts.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies:
- Analytics cookies — Google Analytics uses cookies to understand website usage. These are anonymous.
- Functional cookies — If you start an order, we may store a session cookie so you can return to your progress.
We don't use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your rights
Regardless of where you live, you have the right to:
- Access your data — Ask us what personal information we have about you, and we'll tell you.
- Delete your data — Ask us to delete your personal information, including photos, and we'll do it within 30 days (or immediately for photos upon request).
- Correct your data — If anything we have on file is wrong, let us know and we'll fix it.
- Export your data — Request a copy of your data in a standard format.
- Opt out — Unsubscribe from any marketing emails at any time using the link in the email.

If you're in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your data under the following legal bases:
- Contract performance — Processing your order (photos, payment, shipping) is necessary to fulfill the service you requested.
- Legitimate interest — Website analytics help us improve our service.
